In today's monochromatic trend, we should not be afraid to reinvent our personal style. Yes, I know, that was kinda ambitious. But hey! Being outrageous, ornate and garnish is actually fun.

Japanese inspired souvenir jackets are making a scene nowadays. And great news! These jackets are now widely sold in the worldwide market. Designers and brands are creating a modern take on this historic attire that was worn by Japanese soldiers in the WWII.

Aside from the timeless beauty of silk, I personally like the details imprinted on these type of jackets. Japanese imagery adds a vintage vibe that makes any look a lot more classic and pop at the same time.

One of the key factors in wearing souvenir jackets is being experimental. With all the jacket's details, color, and fabric, you should be able to pick the right ensemble to avoid clashing. Intimidating it may sound, but it's actually fun dressing up with it.

In my case, I decided to throw on a ribbed white top paired with high-waisted shorts to make the jacket stand out and pop. Plus, a brushed-up hairdo to match the whole vintage feels.

How about you guys? What do you think about Japanese Souvenir Jackets and how do you wear them? Let me know in the comments section! :*
